Biography

Misterer was founded by multi-instrumentalist, singer and producer Mikko Herranen in Helsinki, Finland in the fall 2017. Herranen (RUST, Velcra, Mauron Maiden) is joined by Juhani Flinck (Dead Shape Figure, Hope) on guitar, Timo Hänninen (Iiwanajulma, Cro Loner, Velcra) on guitar and Beavis (Of All Times) on bass. [1]

Misterer's first single and a music video for Backrage was released worldwide in March 2018. The second single Disconnected followed in May. Released in August 2018, their third single Perkelation tells a tragicomic story on how the Finns get hammered every weekend and occasionally express their feelings in a drunken brawl in queue for the grill or a taxi. [2]

Misterer releases its debut album Ignoramus on digital download and streaming services and as a CD and a cassette on April 24th 2019. [3]

gollark: No.
gollark: (i.e. it's not in my packs at all)
gollark: I don't use EIO now because I disagree with the changes it made in the 1.12 update.
gollark: Ferroboron can't be made in an induction smelter, oddly.
gollark: I don't want tiny compact-machine-fitting things (well, I kind of do, but separate to giant, awe-inspiring ones incorporating fusion plasma injectors of death, hopefully), I want giant ones requiring huge amounts of infrastructure to support it, with cool visual effects, massive (actually fitting, you know, a *fusion* reactor) power output (ideally via steam turbines), that sort of thing.
