Miss Transqueen India

Miss Transqueen India is an Indian beauty pageant for the transgender people over India. Reena Rai is the founder and also the chairperson of the organization. The winner of the pageant will represent India at Miss International Queen [1].

History

The founder was working on the project to make it into limelight since November 2016 but, due to lack of sponsorship the project was full of struggle. The first ever Miss Transqueen India was held at Gurugram, New Delhi were 16 contestants competed for the crown selected from among 1500 transgender people across 10 states[2].

Format

The contestants will go through several rounds after the audition and making to finals. The pageant includes evening gown, swimsuit, traditional wear, and question-answer rounds.[3]
