Mirpur University of Science & Technology
Mirpur University of Science & Technology (میرپور یونیورسٹی براۓ سائنس اور ٹیکنالوجی) (MUST) was formerly a constituent college of University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir as University College of Engineering & Technology Mirpur (UCET Mirpur). It is a state university and the President of Azad Jammu & Kashmir is the Chancellor of the university. The Vice-Chancellor is the executive head and manages the university functions.

The main campus of the university is situated on Allama Iqbal Road, Mirpur, Azad Kashmir and a Bhimber Campus is District Bhimber(33°9′0.72″N 73°44′41.53″E) .
Mirpur University of Science & Technology, was established in August 2008 under a Presidential Ordinance of XVIII of 2008 after integration of three entities of The University of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, namely, Ali Ahmed Shah University College of Engineering & Technology, The University College of Home Economics and the Institute of Islamic Studies.
City Campus is the main hub of education. It consists of the Central Library, auditorium, hostels, mosque, student cafeterias, some outdoor sports facilities, big lecture halls, conference halls, spacious labs, and a parking zone.
The second campus is located on Allama Iqbal Road adjacent to Girls Degree College. In this campus there is an administrative block, department of Home Economics and Zoology. The girl’s hostel is also located in this campus.
The third campus is stationed at District Bhimber on DC Road near Girls Degree College. Three departments are working there namely: Botany, English and Economics with possibly more being added in the near future.DSC_0752
