Miriam Nelson (choreographer)

Miriam Nelson (September 21, 1919 – August 12, 2018) was an American choreographer, dancer, and actress. She debuted on Broadway in the 1930s. She worked in films such as Double Indemnity, Tea for Two and Breakfast at Tiffany's. She worked with people such as Judy Garland, Van Johnson, and Doris Day.[1]

Nelson was married to actor Gene Nelson between 1941–1956. In 2009, she published a biography called My Life Dancing with the Stars. She died on August 12, 2018, at the age of 98.[2]
