Miranda station (Valencia)

Francisco de Miranda station (Spanish: Estación Francisco de Miranda), also known as Rectorado station,[1] is one of the stations of the Valencia Metro in Venezuela.

History

The system opened in 2006, but Miranda Station was not among the original stations. It was one of two stations inaugurated in April 2015 by Nicolás Maduro, the President of Venezuela.[2] It was named after Francisco de Miranda, the Venezuelan revolutionary. The alternative name "Rectorado" refers to a nearby university facility.

gollark: Ignoring enforcement, which is maybe the thing you imply here, how would *that* work?
gollark: The study may have some information about that, but I can't see because the NPR website won't show me stuff unless I agree to cookies.
gollark: What if counties which are more COVID-19-conscious adopt mask mandates *and* do other good things?]
gollark: Sure it can! Something something correlation causation.
