Mippu is an Indian film comedian who works in Tamil-language films.

Career

In 2000, Mippu left his hometown of Salem for Chennai to pursue a career in acting.[2][3] He worked in a tea shop before made his debut as an actor with K. Bhagyaraj's Chokka Thangam in 2003.[3][2] His first notable role was in Soodhu Kavvum (2013) as a man who asks Vijay Sethupathi's character for the time.[4] He went on to portray supporting comedic roles in several films including Veeram (2014) and Vedalam (2015) before playing one of the leads in Yaanai Mel Kuthirai Sawaari (2016) and Bodha (2018).[4][5][6] In the latter film, he plays a man who makes a plan to steal black money from a lady along with newcomer Vicky.[7]
