Minnesota State Highway 274
Minnesota State Highway 274 (MN 274) is a 8.515-mile-long (13.704 km) highway in southwest Minnesota, which runs from its intersection with Yellow Medicine County State-Aid Highway 6 in Wood Lake and continues north to its northern terminus at its intersection with State Highway 23 near Granite Falls.

Route description
Highway 274 serves as a north–south route in southwest Minnesota between Wood Lake and Granite Falls.
Highway 274 is also known as 550th Street in Yellow Medicine County.
The route passes around the west side of Wood Lake near the town of Wood Lake.[2]
The roadway crosses the Yellow Medicine River near its intersection with County Road 3.[2]
History
Highway 274 was authorized on July 1, 1949.[1]
The route was paved in 1950.[3][4]
The highway's original northern terminus was at State Highway 67 until Highway 23 was rerouted between Hanley Falls and Granite Falls circa 1980.[5][6]
Highway 274 is slated for turnback by 2023.[7]
