Mimosa somnians
Mimosa somnians ("Dormideira") is a tree in the family Fabaceae. It is native to the Caribbean, Central America and South America.[2] It is a short, low-lying shrub with minuscule thorns lining its stems like hairs.[3] Its leaves are sensitive, meaning that, when touched, they close quickly, similarly to Mimosa pudica.[4] It can be differentiated from Mimosa pudica in that its leaves are bipinnate, there are more than four subbranchlets and these originate from more than one point on the branch.[4]

gollark: Personally, probably not, though partly because I'm just used to really low-resolution monitors.
gollark: Discord could and you maybe could because browsers also cache stuff locally, but in practice... probably not?
gollark: Yes, that's what I mean - if you see an image in Discord it's been fetched by their servers.
gollark: So what you can do is send the actual image if *Discord* asks, but send a redirect if a regular browser asks.
gollark: I think Discord actually caches images you see on its end, even ones linked from external sites, and the HTTP requests to it are distinguishable from normal browser ones..
