Mihai Nistor

Mihai Nistor (born 5 November 1990) is a Romanian boxer, a southpaw. He competed in the men's super heavyweight event at the 2016 Summer Olympics.[1] He is best known for stopping Anthony Joshua at the super heavyweight division of 39th European Amateur Boxing Championships in 2011.[2]

He competed in semi-professional World Series of Boxing 2013 to 2018, representing Astana Arlans,[3] Italia Thunder,[4] and Fighting Roosters.[5] Nistor had 157 fights as an amateur. His amateur record is 138-19.
