Miguel Mendoza
Juan Carlos Miguel Mendoza (born April 28, 1982) is a celebrity singer, composer and swimmer from the Philippines. He represented his native country at the 2000 and 2004 Summer Olympics. In 2006, Miguel Mendoza joined and placed 4th in the singing competition Philippine Idol the first version of the Idol series in the Philippines. In 2008, Mendoza became a scholar of Pinoy Dream Academy, the Philippine version of Endemol's Operación Triunfo (Operation Triumph) and won as the 3rd Star Dreamer. Mendoza was trained in Ryan Cayabyab’s School of Music. His famous composition Isa Pang Araw, sung by Filipino singer-actress Sarah Geronimo, was nominated for "Best Original Song" at the 67th FAMAS Awards.
