Janie Cribbs is still performing as a singer and songwriter in the US; Gerry O'Beirne (Patrick Street, Sharon Shannon, Waterboys, etc.) has had lots of success as a guitarist, singer, producer and songwriter; and of course Mairtín Ó Connor (Boys of the Lough, Skylark, De Dannan) is one of our most famous accordionists.

Thom Moore[2][3][4] is an American-born singer-songwriter with strong Irish connections. Among the songs he has composed are "Saw You Running", "Still Believing", "Cavan Girl", "The Scholar" (aka "Train to Sligo") and "Carolina Rua". Thom Moore died in March 2018, at age 74.[6]

gollark: My idea for the tunnels was that they would be maybe 5x3 and we could just pack in cables as needed, plus an electric railway.
gollark: Yes, but we can put a cell directly on its output ports (or use expensive cables to connect to one) and drain from multiple sides of that.
gollark: We don't actually need paired fluxducts, due to that quirk of their transfer rates. I think.
gollark: Anyway, we can probably just run some itemducts in the planned power cabling tunnels, so it's not too problematic.
