Michaela Biancofiore

Michaela Biancofiore (born 28 December 1970) is an Italian politician.

Born in Bolzano, Biancofiore enrolled in Forza Italia at age 22.[1] In 2001 she was appointed Adviser for local autonomy and for the Coordination of Information and Security for the Ministry of Civil Service, and in 2002 for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.[1] In 2003 she was elected Councillor of the Autonomous Province of Bolzano with Forza Italia, and in 2006 she was elected deputy with the same party.[1] She was re-elected deputy in 2008 and 2013 with The People of Freedom.[1] Biancofiore was Undersecretary for Public Administration and Simplification between May and October 2013, in the Enrico Letta cabinet.[2]
