Micah Stock

Micah Stock (born December 31, 1988) is a Tony Award-nominated American stage, film and television actor. He is best known for his appearances on Broadway, in the Sundance breakout Brittany Runs a Marathon, the Showtime mini-series Escape at Dannemora and for playing Doug in the Netflix dark comedy series Bonding. He will star in the upcoming National Geographic Channel series The Right Stuff as astronaut Deke Slayton.

Early life

Stock was born in Dayton, Ohio, and grew up in Oakwood.[1] He is a graduate of the Conservatory of Theater at State University of New York at Purchase.

Film and television

In 2019, it was announced[2] that Stock would star as one of the original Mercury Seven astronauts, Donald K. "Deke" Slayton, in National Geographic Channel's television series The Right Stuff.

Theater

He has appeared in two plays by Terrence McNally, And Away We Go at The Pearl Theatre Company and It's Only a Play on Broadway[3] for which he was nominated for a Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Play. He also appeared on Broadway in the 2016 revival of The Front Page.
