Design
Due to Daimler A.G's collaboration with the Renault–Nissan–Mitsubishi Alliance, the OM608 is heavily based on the Renault K9K engine.[2] It features common rail direct injection with 2 valves per cylinder, and a cast iron engine block and crankcase with an aluminium alloy cylinder head.[3] Differences include the engine control unit (ECU), a stop start engine system, a dual-mass flywheel, and the ancillaries.[4]

gollark: Denied.

gollark: Yes. IMMEDIATELY carcinize all your software.
gollark: Yet, despite bad tech, they can throw engineers at it.
gollark: Facebook's mobile apps have an awful development process. They had to do horrible hacks to Android VM internals to fit their over 60 thousand classes in. This probably harms productivity somewhat.
