Md. Akabbar Hossain (মোঃ একাববর হোসেন) is a Bangladesh Awami League politician and the incumbent Member of Parliament from Tangail-7.

Early life
Hossain was born on 12 July 1956. He has a M.S.S. degree.[1]
Career
Hossain was elected to Parliament from Tangail-7 on 5 January 2014 as a Bangladesh Awami League candidate.[2] He is the Chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee for Ministry of Road, Transport and Bridges.[3]
