Academic standards
For the school year 2006–07, the school received a passing grade in the satisfaction survey from each of the three groups of teachers, students and parents. This was the only secondary school in the district to achieve this. [1]
Sport
The boys’ snowboarding team won the British Columbia high school ski and snowboarding zonal championship in March 2008.[2] The senior boys basketball team reached single 'A' provincials in 2010 and 2011, placing 12th and 14th respectively.
