Maya Diab

Maya Diab (Arabic: مايا دياب [ˈmaja ˈdiab]; born 12 November 1980)[3] is a Lebanese pop singer, entertainer, actress and television personality. She is a former member of the Lebanese girl group The 4 Cats.[4]

Biography

Maya Diab was born to in Achrafieh, to a Christian Greek Orthodox family Diab majored in radio and TV media after receiving her university degree from the Lebanese University; she worked on several TV programs. Diab has one brother (Ghassan) and two sisters (Mona and Grace). She is the youngest born out of her parents’ children.[5][6][6][7] She married a Muslim businessman, Abbas Nasser, in 2006 with whom she had her daughter, Kai,[8] the couple separated in 2017.[9]

In January 2020, she mentioned that she was kidnapped in Beirut in 2005, where she was held hostage and abused in a car for one day.[10]
