Maxim Potîrniche

Maxim Potîrniche (born 13 June 1989 in Chişinău, Moldova) is a footballer who plays as a defender. He currently plays for Petrocub Hîncești as well as Moldova national football team.

Club career

FC Academia

In 2008 Maxim Potîrniche signed for his home town club, Moldovan outfit FC Academia, where he made 23 appearances in his first season.[1]

International career

On 10 August 2011 Potîrniche made his debut for the Moldova national football team in a friendly match against Cyprus.[2]

Personal life

Maxim Potîrniche declares himself Romanian[3] and supports the reunification of Moldova and Romania.
