Maurice, Count of Oldenburg
Maurice I (German: Moritz I.; c. 1145 – c. 1211) was Count of Oldenburg from 1169 through 1211. Count Maurice of Oldenburg was the son of Count Christian I of Oldenburg and his wife Kunigunde.
He married Salome, the daughter of Otto II, Count of Wickrath. He is the male-line progenitor of Margrethe II of Denmark, Harald V of Norway, Constantine II of Greece, Charles, Prince of Wales, and Prince William, Duke of Cambridge.
