Masakatsu Takagi

Masakatsu Takagi (高木 正勝, Takagi Masakatsu, born 1979) is a musician and filmmaker from Kameoka, Kyoto, Japan.[1] He attended Kyoto University of Foreign Studies, graduating with English.

His work has been noticed by Apple Inc., and a 3-minute promotional video for the company was made about how Takagi creates his videos on a Macintosh system, and Apple Pro software, including Final Cut Pro and Logic Pro. He also uses Adobe After Effects and Adobe Photoshop in his videos.[2] He collaborated with David Sylvian on the track "Exit / Delete" from Coieda (2004).

He wrote the score for Mamoru Hosoda's films Wolf Children (2012), The Boy and the Beast (2015) and Mirai (2018).[3] He also wrote the music for the Studio Ghibli documentary The Kingdom of Dreams and Madness (2013).

Takagi has lived in Hyogo, Japan since 2013.[4]

gollark: Well, you could make it more annoying by having your code execute entirely out of order.
gollark: This is not really, as far as I know, practical for machine-code-y systems, because they don't need to go through a function call or whatever to load new code for execution.
gollark: What I had to do one time to reverse some obfuscated code on potatOS was hook `load` to log newly loaded code to a file, it's called "Protocol Epsilon debug mode" and is still in there.
gollark: I'm assuming you don't mean "polymorphism" in the sense of "functions which can take/return multiple types"?
