Maryam Kalali

Maryam Shahabi (25 October 1914 – 4 October 2005) (Persian: مریم کلالی), was a Persian aristocrat and major landowner.

Background

Maryam was a direct descendant of Persian Emperor Teymour Lang known in the West as Tamerlane. Her ancestors led the Teymouri tribe for generations and her mother had three lines of descent from Fath-Ali Shah Qajar.

Maryam is the granddaughter of Mir 'Ali Mardan Khan, Nuzrat ol-Molk and his wife Princess Ashraf us-Sultana Qajar

She married Etemad Shahabi and had four issues:
