Martí Manen

Marti Manen (born 1976, Barcelona) is a curator and art writer currently living in Stockholm.[1] Since 2018 he is the director of Index Foundation.[2]

He cofounded A*Desk, one of Barcelona's independent structure for arts critics. Since then, he has curated exhibition for institutions as well as for independent spaces. He has curated projects for Museo de Historia Natural (Mexico City), Aara (Bangkok), Sala Rekalde (Bilbao), Konsthall C (Stockholm), Ca2M (Madrid), Miró Foundation (Barcelona)[3] and he was the curator of the Spanish Pavilion at Venice Biennale 2015.[4] On 2018 he was appointed director of the Index - The Swedish Contemporary Art Foundation and in 2019 he is the Curator of Momentum10 Biennial in Moss, Norway.[5]
