Bernard Markowicz opened his first gallery in 2010 in the heart of the Miami Design District. In September 2019, Markowicz opened its second gallery in Dallas.[7][6][8] Most of the gallery's portfolio displays French or French-speaking artists, aggregated within a collection including famous artists such as Bacon, Botero, Chagall and Warhol.[9]

The gallery has featured artists such as Kai,[4][10] Alain Godon,[11][4] Markus Klinko[4], Idan Zareski[12][10], Carole Feuerman,[13]Arno Elias,[12][14] Reine Paradis,[12][15] and Maurice Renoma,[16] among others. In December 2019, Richard Orlinski, a French sculptor, exhibited sculptures from his "Born Wild" collection.[10]
