Marie-Françoise Matouk
Marie-Françoise Matouk, born Marie-Françoise Cazes (28 December 1928 – 18 July 2020) was a reseller of paintings from Nîmes. She sold paintings by famous Haitian painters in France to finance Haitian schools; and in particular the Lycée St-Alphonse. She was founder of association APAM in 1988. A specialist in Haiti, where she went at least once a year, she accompanied French President François Hollande on a trip to Haiti in 2015.[1]

She was awarded the Knight of the Legion of Honour in 2014.[2]
She married Jean Matouk in 1984. Diplomat Romain Nadal is their son.[3]
Matouk died on 18 July 2020, aged 91, due to a long illness.[1]
