Pérez has won three doubles titles on the ITF tour in her career. On 10 November 2014, she reached her best singles ranking of world number 647. On 3 November 2014, she peaked at world number 594 in the doubles rankings.
Pérez made her WTA tour debut at the 2013 Copa Colsanitas, partnering her sister Paula Andrea in doubles.[1] The twins lost their first round match against Alizé Cornet and Pauline Parmentier.[1]
Playing for Colombia at the Fed Cup, Pérez has a win–loss record of 1–4.[2]
