María Josefa Massanés

Maria Josepa Massanés i Dalmau (also Josepa Massanés or Josefa Massanés; 1811 - 1887) was a Catalan/Spanish poet and the daughter of Josep Massanès i Mestres. She had an interest in popular education and religion, and defended women writers.[1]

Massanés is associated with Romantic poetry.[2] She wrote in the Spanish and Catalan languages.
