History

Manthan has received funding from various sources.[6] One of its earliest funding rounds, with an investment of $15 million[7] was led by Fidelity International and their recent funding of $60M [8] was led by Temasek Holdings and Norwest Venture Partners. Atul Jalan, the founder of Manthan is named as one of the top 10 most influential analytics leaders in India for the year 2015.[9]

In November 2019 the company acquired Richrelevance.[10]

Manthan Systems is a provider of business intelligence (BI) and analytical solutions for the retail and consumer packaged goods industries. Manthan develops and markets a suite of software products and synergistic services to global retailers enabling them to take data-driven business decisions.[2] In 2016, Manthan announced a partnership with Tableau Software.[11]

gollark: But you do need dates fairly often, and this makes it *consistent* between implementations.
gollark: For example, as well as the time-duration-type thing ("5y2mo3w" etc) it actually supports DD/MM/YYYY as well as some weird backward thing because it uses an external library for it too.
