History

The United States took control of Puerto Rico from Spain in the aftermath of the Spanish-American War under the terms of the Treaty of Paris of 1898. In 1899, the United States conducted its first census of Puerto Rico finding that the population of Mamey barrio was 558.[6]

Sectors

Barrios (which are like minor civil divisions)[7] in turn are further subdivided into smaller local populated place areas/units called sectores (sectors in English). The types of sectores may vary, from normally sector to urbanización to reparto to barriada to residencial, among others.[8][9][10][11]

The following sectors are in Mamey barrio:[12]

Carretera 110, Sector Acevedo, Sector Adrián López, Sector Cordero, Sector Hito Acevedo, Sector La Cocorita, Sector Los Jiménez, Sector Los Ratones, Sector Nango Soto, Sector Pablo López, Sector Patrio Acevedo, Sector Plan Bonito, Sector Solares Pabón, Sector Tony Cortez, and Tramo Carretera 4417.

gollark: How do you hack a *phone number*? Do you mean their phone network provider or something?
gollark: You are unlikely to encounter any illegal numbers by accident if they're bigger than 64 bits or so, apparently.
gollark: Yes, it's an interesting weird consequence of laws.
gollark: Does it let you recover it from a phone number or something?
gollark: HTTP has a mandatory Date header too.
