Mahmood Lodhi
Mahmood Lodhi (born 1961) is a Pakistani chess player famous for playing with D4 opening. He was awarded the title International Master by FIDE in 1987. He is the reigning national champion[2] and has won the national chess championship of his country a record 15 times. Lodhi won the Asian Senior Chess Championship in the 50+ category in 2015 and 2017.[3][4]

About
Mahmood Lodhi is currently a chess teacher at Crescent Model Higher Secondary School. Most of his games begin with D4 or Queen Pawns Opening, he has played with Chess world champion Viswanathan Anand too. His biggest victory was his draw with Chess Grandmaster Bologan who is Fide rated 2600. His wins are usually against 2400 or 2500 Grandmasters at max.
