Madison Gesiotto
Madison Mari Gesiotto (born March 20, 1992) is an American conservative commentator,[1] columnist, figure skater,[2] model,[3] and beauty queen who won Miss Ohio USA 2014.[4][5] She represented the state of Ohio on NBC and Univision at Miss USA 2014 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana on June 8, 2014.[6] She is currently the author of a weekly column at The Washington Times titled "Millennial Mindset" and previously anchored daily news briefings before they were discontinued.[7] She is a frequent commentator on Fox News and Fox Business programs.

Early life and education
Gesiotto was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.[8] She attended Jackson Local Schools in Massillon, Ohio and trained as a competitive figure skater in Lakewood, Ohio at the Winterhurst Figure Skating Club. Gesiotto was coached by Carol Heiss.[9] In 2010, she passed her gold tests in free skating and moves-in-the-field.[2]
Gesiotto graduated with honors from The Ohio State University in 2014 with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She graduated from Moritz College of Law at Ohio State in 2017 with a juris doctorate degree.[10]
Pageants
Miss Ohio USA 2013
Gesiotto represented Columbus at the Miss Ohio USA pageant in 2013, where she placed third runner-up.[11] She praised pageant competition for the networking opportunities it provided.[12]
Miss Ohio USA 2014
Gesiotto represented Mid Ohio at the Miss Ohio USA pageant in 2014, where was crowned Miss Ohio USA 2014.[13][14][15]
After winning Miss Ohio USA, Gesiotto was featured on various television news outlets for her promotion of political awareness and her fundraising for Wounded Warrior Project, including NBC4i,[16] FOX28,[17] and Fox 8 News [18] where she "wowed" Kristi Capel and Stefani Schaefer.[19]
She was also featured in a New York Times article profiling pageant consultant Bill Alverson.[20][21]
Career
Gesiotto is currently the author of a weekly column at The Washington Times titled "Millennial Mindset," which focuses on various American political, policy, and legal issues.[25] She previously anchored daily news briefings (The Washington Times Exclusive Weekend Briefing [26] and The Washington Times Exclusive Daily Briefing)[27] before they were discontinued.
Gesiotto previously worked for Mitt Romney's 2012 presidential campaign and on the United States Senate Committee on Small Business and Entrepreneurship.[28] As a law student at Moritz College of Law, Gesiotto was a staff editor for The Ohio State Journal of Criminal Law.[29]
Gesiotto, who is an anti-abortion activist, wrote a column in which she referred to abortion as "the number one killer of black Americans," [30] a position that resulted in some controversy at her law school campus.[31]
When Donald Trump was accused of making sexist remarks to a Miss Universe pageant winner during his campaign for president, Gesiotto defended Trump in her Washington Times column. Gesiotto described two instances in which she personally interacted with Trump, and described the reasons why she supported him for president.[32]
