Macrogomphus lankanensis is a species of dragonfly in the family Gomphidae. It is endemic to Sri Lanka. Its natural habitats are rivers and irrigated land. It is threatened by habitat loss.

gollark: What does single-mode mean for lasers? I duckduckgoed it, but the answers seem kind of technical.
gollark: What maths? I don't really lasers, but that sounds impractical and horribly dangerous in several ways.
