M.R. Ghanoonparvar

M.R. Ghanoonparvar is a Professor Emeritus of Persian and Comparative Literature at the faculty of Middle Eastern studies at the University of Texas, Austin.[1] In the past he taught at various other universities, including the University of Isfahan, the University of Virginia, and the University of Arizona.[2] Ghanoonparvar is an authority on Persian literature and culture, having published in both English and Persian.[2] In 2013, after forty years, he retired from active teaching.[3]
