Métis Child and Family Services Society

Métis Child and Family Services Society exists to strengthen and support the health and well-being of Métis families and communities.[1] as a non-profit organizations that exist in areas of high Métis populations.

Agency Objectives: improve the quality and effectiveness of social services to Aboriginal Children and families in need by developing programs that strengthen Aboriginal families, and develop community awareness and responsibility of Aboriginal children and families.[1]

Some of the programs that are offered are Foster Care, Aboriginal Child & Family Support, Family Violence and Kinship Care.[1]

Lac La Biche

The Métis Child and Family Services Society in Lac La Biche, Alberta was incorporated on August 19, 1995. Its primary focus is to assist and support families, youth and elders. Métis Child and Family services - Lac La Biche.
