Lynx gang
The Lynxs Gang (sometimes known as The Lynxs Crew) is a Birmingham-based gang that was founded in the 1970s, initially to protect the Asian people community (most notably of Mirpuri Kashmiri people and Pathaan origin) from white power skinheads. Later, the gang transformed into a violent criminal gang. It included serious criminals and drug users.[1]

The gang was founded in the Small Heath area of the city, but later spread to the Birmingham boroughs Lozells, Handsworth, Birmingham, Sparkbrook, and Aston. Moazzem Begg is an ex-member of the gang.[2]
