Lycurgus (volleyball)
Lycurgus is a Dutch professional volleyball club based in Groningen, Netherlands. They currently compete in the top flight of Dutch volleyball, the Eredivisie, and are the current reigning champions.

History
Abiant Lycurgus had relative success through the 1970s and 1980s, but the club never won any championships. It reached the national final in 2011/12 and 2014/15, but lost both matches, before finally winning the Dutch championship and Dutch cup in the 2015/16 season.

gollark: To be mathy about this, consider n² + n + 41. If you substitute n = 0 to n = ~~40~~ 39, you'll see "wow, this produces prime numbers. I thought those were really hard and weird, what an amazing discovery".
