Low Self Opinion is New Waver's fourth album, released in 1992. It is a collection of sound collages and popular songs of the day, like their other cassettes.

According to the Spill label's website, track 3 was "a response to a prominent pro-winner song of the day" ([1]).

The music bed for "News Break" was reused for the track "The Client" (later renamed "The Case") on New Waver's 1999 album The Defeated.

gollark: Unless the macros are just done in software on the computer itself.
gollark: I don't think macro storage is designed for any real security, and presumably the control program on the computer can access them all anyway.
gollark: If you use your *keyboard*, that might expose the macros on it to anyone who can plug it into something.
