Lovinia Sylvia Chidi

Lovinia Sylvia Chidi (born 1971) is German Poet and Chess Player. She has written over 10 books, several of them poetry as well as 2 great books of chess called 'The Greatest Chess Kings' and 'The Greatest Chess Queens'. She is an Information technology expert and currently resides in the United Kingdom. Her books 'The greatest short poems' are a work of contemporary poetry. Her lastest works are 'Berlin Poems 2018' and an exceptional fictional children's book called 'The Adventures of Minkey the Monkey'.

Biography

Lovinia Sylvia Chidi was born in Germany, spent her childhood in Nigeria, and later studied in England where she worked in the information technology. She is a self-published poet and author.[1][2] In the first half of the 1990s, she was one of the leading Nigerian female chess players. In 1991, Lovinia Sylvia Chidi participated in Women's World Chess Championship Interzonal Tournament in Subotica where ranked 35th place.[3]
