Love Thy Neighbour in Australia

Love Thy Neighbour is an Australian television comedy series which originally aired on the Seven Network between 9 April and 21 May 1979. It was produced as a sequel to the British series Love Thy Neighbour (1972–1976) featuring one of the major protagonists Eddie Booth (Jack Smethurst).[1] While the earlier series had focused on Eddie Booth's rivalry with his black neighbour, the sequel focused on his attempts to overcome Anglo-Australian cultural differences after emigrating and settling in the suburbs of Sydney.
