Louise D. Clement-Hoff

Louise D. Clement-Hoff (born June 4, 1926 - died Jan 31, 2020 in Philadelphia) was a renowned American artist and educator.[1][2][3]

Career

Educator

Clement-Hoff’s teaching career included 18 years of figure drawing classes at Woodmere Art Museum, figure drawing, still life composition and painting at Philadelphia’s Hussian School of Art; and more than 64 years of painting, sculpture and drawing at the at Fleisher Art Memorial in Philadelphia. Clement-Hoff was selected by Fleisher to receive the 2015 Founder’s Award in recognition of her lasting impact on the school.[4] She also taught oil painting to the parents of students enrolled in Fleisher’s Saturday Young Artists Program.[5][6]

Clement-Hoff was a painter and draftsperson.[1] Clement-Hoff’s paintings have exhibited throughout the Delaware Valley.[2]
