Lotte de Beer
Lotte de Beer is a Dutch opera director.
Early life
De Beer was born in the Netherlands.[1] She earned a degree in directing from the Amsterdam University of the Arts, graduating in 2009.[2][3]
Career
De Beer is the artistic director of Operafront.[2] She has directed at the Theater an der Wien, the Münchener Biennale, the Holland Festival, the Neuköllner Oper, Opera Leipzig, the Aalto Musiktheater Essen, the Royal Danish Theatre in Copenhagen,[2] and Israeli Opera.[1]
She has won the Ton Lutz Award for most talented director and best newcomer director at the International Opera Awards in 2015.[2]
