Liza Richardson

Liza Richardson (born in Phoenix, Arizona)[1] is a music supervisor on numerous films and TV shows, and a DJ on her weekly Saturday evening radio show on KCRW, an eclectic music and NPR news radio station based in Santa Monica, California. Her music supervisor credits include the TV show Friday Night Lights, films The Kids Are All Right, Lords of Dogtown, Y Tu Mama Tambien (which garnered her a Grammy nomination), Nacho Libre (music consultant) and Surf's Up. In February 2007, she was asked to be the first DJ to perform for the Academy Awards ceremony. Richardson was the music supervisor for 2010-11 TV shows including Hawaii Five-0 and Parenthood.

Richardson studied dance at the Interlochen Arts Camp in Interlochen, Michigan and at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas where she received a BFA in Theater and Dance.[1]

In 2002, Richardson starred in one of the Apple Switch ad campaign commercials.
