The following is a List of Tribal Councils in British Columbia. For unaffiliated band governments see List of First Nations governments in British Columbia. Treaty Council organizations are not listed.

- Fraser Canyon Indian Administration (Nlaka'pamux)
- Gitxsan Tribal Council (defunct; the body representing the Gitxsan bands is now the Office of the Hereditary Chiefs of the Gitxsan, see below)
- Haida Nation
- In-SHUCK-ch Nation
- Ktunaxa Kinbasket Tribal Council
- Kwakiutl District Council (Kwakiutl Laich-kwil-Tach Nations)
- Lillooet Tribal Council (a.k.a. St'at'imc Nation)
- Lower Stl'atl'imx Tribal Council, which includes N'quatqua First Nation as well as In-SHUCK-ch bands
- Musgamagw Tsawataineuk Tribal Council (Kwakwaka'wakw)

Groups that are not technically tribal councils but are organizations of traditional governments, or representing traditional governance are:
- Office of the Hereditary Chiefs of the Gitxsan
- Office of the Hereditary Chiefs of the Wet'suwet'en, referred to by the BC government as "Office of the Wet'suwet'en"
- These two organizations are allied and often release joint documents with the name Office of the Hereditary Chiefs of the Gitxsan and Wet'suwet'en.
- Tahltan Nation, technically not a tribal council, governed by Tahltan Central Council (see article)
