Notes

  • Governance of the city was temporarily transferred to a taxpayer advisory committee led by Joseph Oliver for part of 1973, after five of the city's six councillors resigned on July 9, 1973 in protest against a jurisdictional dispute with the Yukon Territorial Council,[1] leaving the council without a quorum to conduct city business; Wybrew was also dismissed as mayor during this committee governance period. Following a by-election on September 20, 1973, Wybrew returned to office and served until December.[2]

gollark: ... hmm, in that case, maybe something *contrasting* with the teal (and with a different offfsite use policy) would be better.
gollark: Also, I'd prefer if the *background* were teal and the text white or something - see the actual site.
gollark: Eeeh. The chrono there kind of makes the writing annoying to read.
gollark: Well, in that case, we shall need to either delay the logos until birdz can be reached (if they agree, obviously) or take out the chrono.
gollark: I don't think it could ever actually work.
