List of mayors of Renfrew, Ontario

The current Mayor of Renfrew, Ontario is William (Bill) Ringrose, who was elected in November, 2010. He defeated his predecessor, Sandra J. Heins. Current council holds office until November, 2014, which is policy for all municipalities in Ontario. In 2002, Heins signed a declaration put forward by the Renfrew Chamber of Commerce that Renfrew would be considered the birthplace of the National Hockey League.[1] The first Mayor of Renfrew was James Craig.
