The Queen (simplified Chinese: 复仇女王) is a Singaporean television thriller action crime fatal produced by Wawa Pictures in 2016, starring Jesseca Liu, Priscelia Chan, Vivian Lai, Apple Hong and Jayley Woo as the main characters of the series. Members from an exclusive invite-only ‘Revenge Queen’ club are regular white and blue collar workers by day, but by night, they put on black masquerade masks, avenge fellow womenfolk in trouble and help them stand up on their feet again. The series began airing on Channel 8 HD on Thursday, 18 February 2016 with 20 episodes.

2006, Ni Qiaowen (Apple Hong) fervently denies her affair with Peter. Her husband, Guo Wenbin, has a very capable lawyer in Guan Xin (Jesseca Liu). He wins the lawsuit and divorces her. It turns out that Peter is in cahoots with Wenbin. He is not satisfied with his fee. Guan Xin and her husband, He Guoping (Darren Lim), the police commissioner, are a loving couple. Qiaowen catches Wenbin with Cindy. She is insulted by Cindy, and kicked out by Wenbin. She hops into a cab and asks the driver, Zhang Xiaofeng (Priscelia Chan), to take her to a place where she can commit suicide. She hands her a name card for the Revenge Queen. Wu Kai’en (Jayley Woo) stops Qiaowen from jumping to her death. A reporter, Kai’en deems it fortuitous that she had bumped into Qiaowen, and makes the suicide attempt her main story. Yet again, Cindy calls Qiaowen to insult her. This eggs Qiaowen on to move forward with her own life. She arranges to meet a member from Revenge Queen. Qiaowen wakes up in a sealed room. Wenbin is tied to a chair, unconscious. A mystery voice orders her to kill her husband for revenge. Instead, she slices the rope and declares she will sever ties with him. Kai’en and Xiaofeng are members of the revenge club. They reveal they had mimicked Cindy’s voice on the phone to trigger Qiaowen’s will to live. Zeng Jingyi (Vivian Lai) gives Wenbin a massage. Wenbin belittles her, and she teaches him a lesson. Kai’en informs Qiaowen that her boss has worked out how Qiaowen can exact revenge. Kai’en calls Cindy and asks for a ransom in exchange for Wenbin. Guan Xin visits her sister, Guan Ying (Sheila Sim), in the mental hospital. Guan Ying tries to strangle her. Guan Xin promises to find a cure for her, no matter what the cost. Guan Xin accompanies Cindy to pay the ransom. In the Revenge Queen group chat, she announces the commencement of her scheme for revenge. Guan Xin pretends to succumb to her attacker. She notices Cindy is not panicking.

Guan Xin allows her attacker to strike her. Just before losing consciousness, she contacts the Revenge Queen chat. Upon receiving the message, Jingyi halts her attempt to help Guan Xin, and Xiaofeng quickens her pace to track down Cindy and John. Kai’en makes a call to Cindy. She hears Wenbin pleading for help over the phone. John urges her to abandon Wenbin, since they have the money. Cindy reveals they only have $300,000 instead of $3 million. She plans to reconvene with Guan Xin to hand over the ransom and find out where Wenbin has hidden his money. Xiaofeng records the whole exchange. Guan Xin receives the footage, confirming her suspicions. She pretends to be unconscious when Cindy returns. Cindy lies about being attacked and threatened by the kidnappers. Guan Xin and Cindy rendezvous with the kidnappers, Jingyi and Xiaofeng, who take them both captive when Cindy reveals she does not have enough to pay them. Wenbin reveals he has converted his cash into diamonds and keeps them in a safe. He was afraid he would be asked to split his wealth with Qiaowen as part of the divorce settlement. Cindy steals the diamonds while they are being retrieved. She and John scuffle with Wenbin, and flee unknowingly into Xiaofeng’s taxi. Kai’en and Xiaofeng stage an accident to get hold of the diamonds. When Qiaowen receives the cash and diamonds, she realises Guan Xin is the Revenge Queen. Guan Xin recounts the experience to Guan Ying. She urges her sister not to hate her, and blames Mark instead. Guoping and Guan Xin star in a police recruitment commercial. Acting as a father with young children stirs his desire to have his own children. Qiaowen’s search for a job is unsuccessful. She feels she is being followed and calls Kai’en for help but to no avail.

A man attacks Qiaowen. Kai’en tracks her phone number via the Internet. Wenbin is her attacker. In his disheveled state, he seeks her forgiveness and tries to win her sympathy. He thinks his plan is working, but Qiaowen rejects him. When he grabs her again, a passer-by named Jason rescues her and takes her home. Guan Xin reminds Kai’en and Xiaofeng to always sever contact with clients after they have been successfully avenged, so they will learn to be independent. After her release from prison, Liu Shuangshuang approaches Guan Xin yet again for help. Shuangshuang’s husband had used her and had an affair, then framed her for murdering his father. She was charged for negligence, which caused harm to others, and sentenced to five years’ imprisonment. Earlier, Guan Xin had assured her she could be released after three years for good behaviour. Guan Xin arranges for Shuangshuang to undergo plastic surgery and lose weight. She then gives her a new identity, Tongtong (Zhou Yutong). Shuangshuang must execute the revenge plan independently through Tongtong to truly get past her trauma. Jason sweet-talks Qiaowen, persuading her to invest in gold. Kai’en meets a cop, Minghui (Xu Bin), who asks for her help. He tricks her, and his female partner splashes a drink on her. She finds him speaking over the phone about his credit card debts and records it, with the intention of uploading it. Jason gloats when another “aunty” takes the bait. Tongtong drinks with him and gets drunk. Kai En takes her away and quarrels with Jason. Minghui denies being a cop and seems to shirk his responsibility.

Jason drags Tongtong away as Kai’en watches helplessly. A motorcycle speeds towards him and scares him off. The rider turns out to be Minghui. Minghui reports to Guoping on his first day back from an undercover assignment. Guoping comes across the video detailing Minghui’s credit card debts, which tarnishes the reputation of the police force. He reprimands Minghui and orders him to write a report. Minghui pleads for his help. Kai En tells Guan Xin that she saw Qiaowen handing a cheque to Jason. She suspects he could be involved in illegal activities. Guan Xin advises her to wash her hands off the matter. Xiaofeng inspects Chen Zijian’s schedule, so as to engineer chance encounters. Tongtong advises that he is very superstitious. Xiaofeng dresses as a fengshui master and enters the lift with Zijian. She pretends to sense his misfortune. When he asks to be enlightened, she predicts there will be three women in his life. She recounts his past with the first two women and convinces him that the third woman he meets will bring him good fortune. When Zijian encounters Tongtong, a flowerpot falls and shatters just behind him, prompting him to recall the fortune-teller’s prediction. He is convinced Tongtong is the third woman and hires her to be his personal assistant.

Zijian asks why Zeng Jing had pretended to be intellectually disabled. On the quiet, she informs Guan Xin that her cover has been blown. Guan Xin instructs Xiaofeng to stall Zijian. Zijian calls Xiaofeng a cheat and reproaches Tongtong for lying to him. Tongtong takes Zijian to a lavish mansion and claims her late father was a wealthy businessman with multiple properties in Singapore and Indonesia. She also claims she has inherited all his assets and has not trusted men with this information since her first lover hurt her. Guan Xin introduces herself as a lawyer who regulates Tongtong’s relationships to protect her. She advises Zijian to avoid meeting Tongtong, given his background. Zijian’s wife, Anqi, warns Tongtong to stay away from her husband. Zijian protects Tongtong and slaps his wife. Troubled about her revenge plan, Tongtong fears she is becoming as evil as Anqi. Kai’en can see that Guan Xin loves children. Guan Xin reveals she has no intention of having children because she might one day be imprisoned for the things she has done as the Revenge Queen. Zijian wants a divorce, but Anqi is against it. She is found hanged, but Jason and Zijian report receiving text messages from her even after her estimated time of death. Tongtong apologises to Zijian and reproaches herself for Anqi’s death.

Tongtong feels remorseful and wants to reveal to Zijian that she is using a fake identity. Guan Xin, who has been following her, stops her. Guan Xin blames Zijian for Tongtong’s meltdown and takes her away forcibly. Back at the mansion, Tongtong tears up and says that she does not want revenge anymore. Guan Xin consoles her and admits she had similar internal struggles when she first started being a Revenge Queen, particularly since, as a lawyer, she should be upholding justice and preserving the sanctity of the law. However, she justifies herself by saying she is doing it all for her sister, Guan Ying. Guan Xin and her sister are orphans. Guan Ying dropped out of school to work and support Guan Xin through university. Guan Ying liked Guan Xin’s senior, Mark. He liked Guan Xin. Still, Guan Xin tried to bring them together. After they married, Mark lost a lot of money on the stock market and borrowed from loansharks. He went into hiding, and Guan Ying was harassed. Guan Xin paid off the debts. However, Mark continued to gamble and lost even more money. He thought of a plan to make Guan Ying kill herself so that he would inherit the insurance payout. Guan Ying attempted suicide on Guan Xin’s wedding day. Though she was saved, she miscarried. She was devastated and went berserk. Since that time, whenever Guan Xin sees men ill-treating their wives and the law is unable to help them, she is reminded of her sister and is compelled to help them. Guan Xin makes Tongtong remember her pain. Tongtong finally desires revenge again. Pretending to be ill, Xiaofeng purposely chances upon Zijian and claims retribution has fallen on her for divulging the prophecy. He begs her to give him guidance. She tells him to look for his third woman and leave Singapore.

Zijian thinks his house is haunted. Hiding upstairs, Kai’en mimicks Anqi’s voice, saying she wants revenge. Suddenly, a cold wind blows, and something sharp and icy hits Zijian’s neck. He freaks out and runs out of the house. Zijian receives a blurred video on his phone. It shows the back of a man strangling “Anqi” and dragging her corpse to the staircase. Subsequently, a text message comes in. Demanding $5 million, it declares that the video will be posted online if the money is not forthcoming. Zijian replies that he will hand the money over in three days. Zijian proposes to Tongtong with a diamond ring and conveys that he is going to sell all his properties and assets to settle down in Indonesia with her. When she agrees to marry him, he gloats that she has fallen for his plan. Tongtong buys Zijian’s house at a low price. Xiaofeng successfully gets the $5 million from him. Guan Xin invites Jason for coffee and confides that she has been lonely since her husband died. She then makes excuses to leave and asks Jason to receive a package for her. Zijian finds the package with Jason and assaults him, claiming Jason has seduced his wife. When he blackmails Jason, he is arrested by Minghui. Minghui interrogates Zijian, who admits to killing Anqi. Tongtong accepts the love of her admirer, A-jie, and they go on holiday to the Aegean Sea. Xiaofeng befriends an honest, caring man named Shanhong. He is bullied by his wife, Meifang. Xiaofeng pities him and advises him to make a police report. He tells her to stay out of his affairs. Xiaofeng’s former husband, Li Bingqiang, attacks her, saying he is seeking revenge for his jail term of three years, which he blames her for.

Guan Xin is woken up in the middle of the night by a Revenge Queen code red message. She rushes to the hospital, where she finds a seriously injured Xiaofeng. Xiaofeng’s ex-husband, Bingqiang, beat her up and warned her not to go to the police. He threatened to kill her, as well as her lawyer. Three years ago, Xiaofeng had wanted Guan Xin to help her divorce her husband for repeatedly beating her. She did not want him jailed. Guan Xin advised that he would not change unless punished. One night, Bingqiang came home drunk and tried to hit Xiaofeng with a rolling pin. He was caught and sentenced to three years in jail. Guan Xin has been teaching Xiaofeng self-defence skills. At her current level, she should be able to resist Bingqiang. However, Xiaofeng confesses that she starts trembling when she sees him. Kai’en finds Bingqiang at a pub. Zeng Jing lures him to a back alley and beats him up, avenging Xiaofeng. Guan Xin accompanies Xiaofeng home, where Bingqiang is waiting with a baseball bat. Xiaofeng is alarmed. Guan Xin pretends to be weak and is hit on the back. Unable to tolerate this, Xiaofeng retaliates. She demands he apologise to Guan Xin. He complies. Mark wakes up from his coma. He displays fear when he sees Guan Xin. Guan Xin had collaborated with Xiaofeng and revealed Mark’s location to the loansharks. Battered by the loansharks’ runners, he tried to run away and was hit by a motorcycle. When Guolun leaves the hospital, Guan Xin whispers to Mark, saying she will make sure he is paralysed and bedridden for the rest of his life, since he cannot be punished by the law. Guan Xin visits Guan Ying’s tomb and tells her to rest in peace.

The doctor tells Guoping that although Mark has regained consciousness, he needs time to fully recover his memories and speech. Guan Xin is relieved. Guan Xin dreams about Guan Ying asking her to forgive Mark. Guan Ying goes on to say Guan Xin is punishing herself, not Mark. Guan Xin feels nauseous. Zeng Jing is certain she is pregnant. Overjoyed, Guan Xin goes for a checkup. The pregnancy test is negative, and she is told she will not easily conceive. Xiaofeng meets Shanhong again at the clinic. His arm is dislocated, as a result of Meifang beating him up. He blames himself. Shanhong was retrenched a year ago, and Meifang went out to work. The higher she climbed the corporate ladder, the greater the pressure on her, and the more she abused him. Xiaofeng takes Shanhong home. Meifang hits him with her bag. Xiaofeng subdues her when she scolds Shanhong for bringing home a woman when she is not around. Xiaofeng returns to the headquarters and vows to help Shanhong. Guan Xin says they only help women. Disgruntled, Xiaofeng quits Revenge Queen. Guoping sends Minghui out to investigate a series of molest cases in Geylang. The victims are bargirls below 25 years of age. Going by their statements, the suspect is the same person. Minghui tails Biao-ge and is captured by his lackeys. Zeng Jing rescues him. The police suspect Biao-ge is the Geylang molester, but he denies this. Guoping observes Biao-ge and is convinced he is innocent. He shows Biao-ge a set of photos. Biao-ge is stunned when he sees Kai’en in one of them. Kai’en tails Meifang and observes her strange diet. Guan Xin gets close to Meifang, and Meifang confides about her stress. Kai’en recognises Shanhong as the suspect who had raped her five years ago. She seems unable to get over the trauma, and Guan Xin is concerned. Kai’en follows Shanhong and Meifang for days, and surmises that he is the Geylang rapist. Zeng Jing calls Xiaofeng to warn her Shanhong is a pervert.

Xiaofeng has the mistaken idea that Shanhong is trying to peek under her shirt. She kicks him hard, and he falls to the ground in pain. In a frenzy, she apologises when she realises she has done him wrong. While eating curry, a tearful Meifang tells Guan Xin she had hit Shanhong the previous night. She tends to vent her frustration on him when she is in a bad mood or under tremendous pressure. Guan Xin asks what is troubling her but she avoids answering. Guan Xin announces that she is going to help Meifang, not Shanhong. She wants everyone to first learn how to cook Meifang’s favourite dish of curry rice. Shanhong learns to cook Japanese curry from Qiaowen. She says they are making a curry that is not spicy but can trigger tears in anyone. Kai’en dresses up suggestively to lure the suspect out. She gets into trouble, and Minghui arrives in the nick of time to arrest the suspect. Shanhong cooks curry rice for Meifang and tells her that he will be there for her no matter what happens. She is touched. When she receives an SMS, however, she becomes upset and blames Shanhong for everything that has happened. Guan Xin wants to know what the SMS is about. Guan Xin duplicates Meifang’s phone, to receive her SMS simultaneously. Xiaofeng tails Meifang to room 1101 and informs Shanhong. Guan Xin is unhappy, and remarks that the matter is not that straightforward. Meifang calls Guan Xin for help urgently. Guan Xin sees two men dragging Meifang into a van. She tries to stop them but is overpowered by a masked man. The ladies follow Meifang’s phone signal to a wooden house and find her dead. A police siren is heard in the distance, and Guan Xin realises they have fallen into a trap.

When the police arrive, Guan Xin leads everyone to the back door. The forensic scientist estimates Meifang was strangled two hours earlier. The police recover a namecard from Revenge Queen on her body. Guan Xin warns everyone to keep a low profile for the time being, just to be safe. When Guoping questions Shanhong about the name card, he thinks of Xiaofeng but feigns ignorance. Xiaofeng explains the group’s beginnings to Shanhong and promises to find Meifang’s killer. On the TV programme, Guoping highlights his suspicions about Revenge Queen and her involvement in the recent murder case. He vows to bring them to justice. Guan Xin disbands the group but continues to investigate Meifang’s death. If the authorities make an arrest, she is prepared to shoulder sole responsibility for the group’s crimes. She sternly warns the rest not to take revenge on her husband. Guan Xin installs a pinhole camera to track Guoping’s emails. Members of Revenge Queen carry on with their regular lives. They miss going on missions together. Zeng Jing recounts her past and how Guan Xin has helped her. She pledges solidarity with Guan Xin for better or worse, and the rest chime in. Guoping suspects Revenge Queen is a group of assassins engaged by Xin Yi Gang, which Minghui was working undercover in. He sends Minghui to investigate. Minghui feels troubled, and Guoping sympathises. The gang leader, Hong Yan, is a treacherous woman. When Guoping advises Minghui to seize the opportunity to face her as a cop, Minghui embraces the challenge. Hong Yan threatens to exact revenge on Minghui when she is released from prison. Minghui claims he has found out that the lady with Shanhong in the cab must be associated with Revenge Queen. Guoping catches a glimpse of Guan Xin via his computer.

When Guoping questions her, Guan Xin lies that she was playing a game and felt dejected because she dreamt about her sister. Worried her depression might relapse, Guoping consults his psychiatrist friend, Zhao Qingyun, who explains that Guan Xin may take a long time to recover from the loss of her sister. Qiaowen injures her tooth. Kai’en takes her to Zhenyang’s clinic. She notices how attentive he is to Kai’en, and encourages her to develop their relationship. Guoping buys flowers and cake for Guan Xin, and promises to take a vacation with her after he cracks the case and arrests Revenge Queen. In a stupor, Guan Xin drops the cake in her hand. Guan Xin drops an eyewitness’ sketch of Xin Yi Gang’s second-in-command from her bag and makes up an excuse to throw Guoping off. He explains the man in the photo is Wang Dalong. Guan Xin suddenly receives a new lead. When Guoping bids her goodbye lovingly, she is bleakly reminded that she will eventually be caught and their relationship will end. Minghui follows Xiaofeng, who immediately calls for help. Minghui wonders why she pretends to be unfamiliar with Shanhong and Meifang. Trying to stall him, Kai’en makes small talk with Minghui, but he remains tight-lipped. They meet an old lady who mistakes Kai’en for Hong-dou. Hong-dou is a girl Minghui had met during his undercover stint in the gang. She died while protecting him. Kai’en rushes to her date with Zhenyang but he doesn’t show up. While giving Dalong a massage, Zeng Jing overhears word that Xin Yi Gang is conducting an operation that night. To her delight, she bumps into Xianghai, but he cannot promise her a future. Xin Yi Gang catches Guan Xin and Zeng Jing spying, and zeros in on Guan Xin.

Guan Xin exchanges blows with the masked “killer”. Using the tactic taught by Zeng Jing to counter his vicious attacks, she injures his arm. The masked man snatches the mini-camera around her neck and flees. Guan Xin is exasperated that she has lost the evidence of Dalong’s smuggling activities. After days of investigation, Minghui concludes Xiaofeng is just an ordinary taxi auntie who was once Guan Xin’s client. Guan Xin had filed for divorce on her behalf, on the basis of domestic violence. Guan Xin interrogates Guoping about the Revenge Queen case. Confident the group’s members will be arrested sooner or later, he asks her about Xiaofeng. She lies that they have not been in contact since the divorce. To find Meifang’s murderer before the police do so, Guan Xin suggests planting a spy in the syndicate to gather criminal evidence and get close to Dalong. Qiaowen accepts the mission. Qiaowen behaves like a rowdy drunk at the KTV lounge and catches the attention of Dalong. She pretends to be a gambler, and Dalong inducts her into his money laundering business. Kai’en visits Hong-dou’s grandmother. Minghui comes later. They are each impressed by the other’s kindness. Minghui realises he might be falling in love with Kai’en. Zhenyang returns from aboard and gives a blue angel doll to Kai’en. She accepts his love. He tries to kiss her, but she pushes him away and slaps him when images of her being raped flash in her mind. He is stunned, and she runs away. Zeng Jing encourages Xianghai to spread their master’s martial arts skills. However, he is cynical about this. She finds a wound on his left arm, and he explains he was robbed and injured. Guan Xin tests Xianghai and questions if he is the killer for the syndicate. He feigns ignorance. While Zeng Jing is tending to Xianghai’s wound, he shares his past with her. Dalong wants Qiaowen to launder money by gambling.

After Qiaowen hands the money to Dalong, he accuses her of being a spy and points a gun at her. She challenges him to kill her if he doesn’t trust her. He slams his gun on the table and praises her performance, saying that he needs her to launder $1 million in the next assignment. Guan Xin applauds Qiaowen for the success of her first mission, but worries for her safety. Qiaowen assures her that she will be fine. Minghui is bored tailing the “auntie”, who is none other than Xiaofeng. Guoping then gives him a daunting task: to hunt down a fugitive, Hong Yan, who had escaped while being extradited to Indonesia for a murder trial. Minghui is aghast; he is well aware Hong Yan hates him to the core. Kai’en encounters Minghui at the pub and asks about the progress of the Revenge Queen case. He is about to confess his feelings for her when Zhenyang shows up. Kai’en introduces him as her boyfriend and Minghui is shattered. Xiaofeng is glad the police are not following her any longer. Guan Xin comes up with a plan. Zeng Jing cooks for Xianghai and spends the night with him. Under Dalong’s instructions, Qiaowen launders $1 million at the casino and passes the money to his lackeys. Xiaofeng and Zeng Jing snatch the money from them. Kai’en mimicks Hong Yan’s voice and calls Dalong, claiming the money is with her. He begs her to return the money, and they arrange to meet. Dalong is knocked out by Zeng Jing and held captive at an abandoned hut. Kai’en fakes Hong Yan’s voice, prompting Dalong to divulge many secrets. Just then, Minghui and the police storm the place and arrest him for murder and money laundering. The namecard “Revenge Queen” is found in the bag of money. Guoping interrogates Dalong and guarantees his safety if he agrees to testify against Meifang’s murderer and identify the head of the money laundering syndicate. Dalong accepts. Having been cleared of murder, the ladies celebrate. Zeng Jing is happy that the outcome proves Xianghai’s innocence too.

Recovering his memory, Mark tells Guoping that Guan Xin is responsible for his injuries. Guoping is incredulous. Guoping is drinking listlessly in a pub when he notices Minghui. He tells Minghui his suspicions about Guan Xin. Minghui points out that love is all that matters. He relates how he had sacrificed a girl he loved while being undercover, but she forgave him though she knew nothing about his real identity. The words stir Guoping. Guoping informs Guan Xin that Mark has woken up and seems to have remembered the past. She is shocked but recovers her calm exterior immediately. Xianghai hopes Zeng Jing will stop seeing Guan Xin, whom she feels is a bad influence. Zeng Jing quits Revenge Queen to be with Xianghai. Guan Xin questions Xianghai’s motives, but Zeng Jing stands by her decision. The IT team finds two records of suspicious login attempts in Guoping’s laptop. He suspects Guan Xin. Zeng Jing aims to open a martial arts school with Xianghai in Sichuan. He says he will do so after settling some matters. Xiaofeng reports to Guan Xin that Xianghai has arrived at Dalong’s finance company. Unknown to her, Guoping is following Guan Xin. Guan Xin saves Xiaofeng when she is ambushed by some men. Guan Xin lets on that Guoping is starting to suspect her, and gets Kai’en to do her a favour. At a gathering, Qiaowen implies that Xianghai is linked to the money laundering syndicate and advises Zeng Jing to be careful. Zeng Jing chooses to trust Xianghai. Guan Xin sneaks into the hospital. Mark is waiting for her. He says bitterly that Guoping will learn the truth someday and retribution will be heaped upon her. Minghui is stunned to receive an SMS stating it is payback time. At word that Hongdou’s grandmother has been hospitalised, Minghui and Kai’en rush over. Kai’en pretends to be Hongdou to comfort the blind grandmother, but she already knows Hongdou is dead. Minghui confesses his love for Kai’en. Hong Yan instructs Xianghai to kidnap Kai’en.

Kai’en is attacked. During the tussle, she scratches the assailant’s neck. It turns out to be Xianghai. Kai’en goes missing. While looking for her, Guan Xin finds a muddy pair of a man’s footprints near the bushes. The angel doll is found in the drain. She deduces that Kai’en has been abducted. Minghui gets an SMS and a photo of Kai’en in a deep sleep, saying that she has been kidnapped. The sender demands to see him. Hong Yan is behind the abduction. Minghui asks for her forgiveness and begs her to let Kai’en go. She slaps him and accuses him of cheating and betraying her. He promises to do anything if she will let Kai’en go. Hong Yan demands that he free Dalong. Minghui asks to be Dalong’s escort to the court house. Guoping approves. Hong Yan makes a deal with Guan Xin to get Dalong in exchange for Kai’en. She reveals to Xianghai that she is carrying out the syndicate’s orders to eliminate Revenge Queen. Guoping catches Guan Xin snooping on his computer for confidential police files. Disappointed, he asks if she is the Revenge Queen. She challenges him to arrest her if he has evidence. Xianghai is unhappy that Zeng Jing is still in contact with Guan Xin and the others. One of his missions in Singapore is to eliminate Revenge Queen. Zeng Jing finds a scratch on Xianghai’s face and remembers Xiaofeng saying that Kai’en was in a fight before she was abducted. Suspicious, Zeng Jing follows Xianghai secretly. Minghui receives an SMS asking him to collaborate with Revenge Queen to save Kai’en. The members of Revenge Queen manage to rescue Dalong while the police are escorting him to the court house. Guoping is infuriated. Guan Xin takes Dalong to Hong Yan, who fires a gunshot at him. She is about to pull the trigger at Guan Xin when the latter kicks the gun away. Xiaofeng comes to her rescue. Zeng Jing saves Kai’en from Xianghai but ends up in a fight with him. Zeng Jing is severely injured. She urges Guan Xin and the rest to leave before the police arrive.

With her dying breath, Zeng Jing confesses to Guoping that she is Revenge Queen. She also admits to killing Dalong. Guoping asks if she has any accomplices, but she denies this. Xiaofeng is clearing Zeng Jing’s belongings when she finds a letter Zeng Jing had written to Guan Xin. It says Zeng Jing is indebted to Guan Xin and will look for a chance to repay her. She also regrets the things that happened involving Xianghai. Guan Xin weeps before Zeng Jing’s photo at the funeral. Xianghai watches from afar, bows, and leaves. Guoping suspends Minghui and questions his motive for requesting to be Dalong’s escort. Kai’en admits to Minghui she is a member of Revenge Queen. He advises her to quit and plan a future with Zhenyang. Guan Xin packs her bags. Before she moves out, she declares to Guoping that he does not trust her. He retorts that he does not believe Zeng Jing is the leader of Revenge Queen. Guan Xin tells her team that she will divorce Guoping. She doesn’t want to be a burden on him. Zhenyang asks Kai’en where she has been. She claims she has been overseas for an assignment. Biao-ge harresses her when Zhenyang is in the washroom. Zhenyang gives Biao-ge a warning. Guan Xin is at Zeng Jing’s memorial tablet placing flowers when she notices Xianghai. A fight ensues before the others arrive. Xianghai does not pursue the matter, and escapes. Guan Xin has been feeling unwell. The doctor announces she is two months pregnant. To her, this is the wrong time to have a baby. Guoping asks Xiaofeng where Guan Xin is and is told about the pregnancy. He visits Guan Xin at the hospital and asks for a fresh start with her. Biao-ge finds Zhenyang familiar. He finally remembers and shows Zhenyang an old video. Zhenyang proposes to Kai’en and wishes they could move to Australia. Guan Xin announces the disbanding of Revenge Queen. She wishes everyone well, expressing the hope that they will all be able to achieve happiness. Guoping sets a trap for Hong Yan and Xianghai. They receive a tip-off and flee. Biao-ge is murdered. Looking through the pub’s CCTV recording, Minghui sees Zhenyang, Kai’en and Biao-ge having a dispute.

Kai’en decides to go to Australia to meet Zhenyang’s parents. However, the couple is called to the police station for questioning. The police have found the newspaper clipping on Kai’en’s rape, as well as her personal data, in Biao-ge’s phone, and suspect he was involved in her rape years ago. Kai’en is upset. Kai’en spills some coffee on Zhenyang’s hand and he yells in pain. She is taken aback. At home, she remembers the yell by the rapist when she had bitten his hand. The two sounds are similar, and she becomes distressed. Superintendent Chen hands the Revenge Queen information to Hong Yan and reminds her to stay out of trouble as she is wanted by the police. In turn, she threatens to expose his corrupt practices; she is well aware that he accepts bribes. Qiaowen finds out from the clinic’s nurse that Biao-ge had met with Zhenyang before he died. They seemed to have known each other. Kai’en wonders why Zhenyang had lied to her, in saying he had first met Biao-ge at the pub. Guan Xin meets Zhenyang and says Biao-ge was her client. He had given her a package of information on Zhenyang before he died, and said he knew Kai’en. Zhenyang is shocked. Qiaowen stalls Zhenyang at the clinic while Kai’en rummages through his room. Kai’en lies to Guan Xin that the search turns up nothing, as she does not want the latter to worry. In fact, she has found her student pass, which was taken by the rapist. She cries bitterly. Kai’en breaks up with Zhenyang and exposes him as the rapist. He expresses his remorse, and says that it was his intention all along to compensate her. She will neither turn him in nor forgive him, and doesn’t want to see him again. He hits her with a rock, and she faints in his arms. Hong Yan wants to work with Mark to exact revenge on the Revenge Queen. Mark calls Guan Xin, threatening to expose her identity to Guoping. Xianghai kills him. Guan Xin goes to Mark’s ward and finds him dead. Guoping arrives, and Guan Xin tries to escape, but to no avail.

Guoping points his gun at Guan Xin’s back. She turns around slowly. It pains them to confront each other. Guoping asks if Guan Xin is Mark’s murderer. She replies angrily that she was merely lured into the room. She finally admits she is Revenge Queen and emphasises they only uphold justice for women and do not do anything immoral. Snatching the handcuffs, the puts them on Guoping and runs off to find the murderer. Guoping is reprimanded by Superintendent Chen and is suspended. Qiaowen is unable to contact Kai’en and Zhenyang. Suspecting that Kai’en is withholding the truth from them, Guan Xin instructs Xiaofeng and Qiaowen to get help from Minghui. Kai’en is confined by Zhenyang. She wants him to free her. He wants her to forget her pain and embark on a future with him. She replies firmly that they can never be together. While under tremendous study stress, Zhenyang had followed Kai’en six years ago and committed his crime. His parents sent him abroad, and he became a dentist against their wishes. He tried locating Kai’en to make amends. Biao-ge blackmailed him, so Zhenyang killed him. Superintendent Chen acts according to Hong Yan’s instructions and suspends Guoping. Hong Yan claims her target is Guan Xin. The syndicate orders the elimination of Revenge Queen as soon as possible. Xianghai promises to kill Guan Xin to avenge Zeng Jing. Kai’en gets Zhenyang to return her angel doll; she wants to hold it before she dies. Once she touches the tip of its nose, Guan Xin receives a notification on her phone. Zhenyang is angered when he discovers a GPS hidden in the angel. He feels Kai’en has betrayed him even though he is sincere. He holds her at knife point. In the nick of time, Xiaofeng and Qiaowen arrive and distract him. Minghui is stabbed. Guoping locates the Revenge Queen’s headquarters. Hong Yan and Xianghai trail him and they clash. Guan Xin saves Guoping when he is put in danger.

Hong Yan threatens Guan Xin with Guoping’s life. Xianghai slaps Guan Xin incessantly. Xianghai is about to lift his leg to kick Guan Xin’s stomach when Hong Yan stops him. Hong Yan still needs Guan Xin, if the remaining members of the Revenge Queen are to be eliminated. Minghui is given emergency treatment. Although his operation is successful, he loses an excessive amount of blood and is at risk of falling into a coma. Kai’en cries helplessly. Guan Xin summons the whole team to the headquarters for an important announcement at 0200 hours. Minghui wakes up and says he came back to life because he can’t bear to leave someone. Kai’en hugs him emotionally. At 2350 hours, Xiaofeng, Qiaowen and Kai’en arrive at the headquarters. Guan Xin announces the official disbanding of Revenge Queen. She bids everyone farewell and opens a bottle of red wine. They drink the wine and are poisoned. Guan Xin cries and apologises; this is her attempt to save Guoping. Guan Xin calls Hong Yan, who has been monitoring the whole exchange, and demands the release of Guoping. Hong Yan instructs her to stab each of the group’s members, and Guan Xin does so. Guan Xin takes out a grenade and pulls the pin. She warns Hong Yan they will perish together unless she frees Guoping. Hong Yan calls Xianghai to release Guoping. She overpowers Guan Xin and points the gun at her. Xiaofeng, Kai’en and Qiaowen rush in to save Guan Xin. It turns out that Guan Xin had already figured out Hong Yan’s plan and replaced the poisoned wine. The four of them surround Hong Yan. Xianghai shows up and helps Hong Yan to defeat them. Just as Guan Xin is cornered, Guoping and the police arrive. Xianghai resists arrest and is shot by Guoping. When Xianghai falls to the ground, he laments that life is meaningless without Zeng Jing. Guoping handcuffs Guan Xin. Xiaofeng, Qiaowen and Kai’en are handcuffed too. Guan Xin apologises, but they have no regrets. Seven years later, a steel gate opens and Guan Xin walks out, enjoying the breath of freedom. A small boy runs happily to her. The End
