Laurien Magee

Laurien Magee (c. 1689, Islandmagee, Ireland - 1710, Islandmagee, Ireland ), was an alleged witch and one of the eight supposed victims put to death during the Islandmagee Witch trial.

Witch Trial

Laurien Magee was one of the eight women that Mary Dunbar claimed were the witches that had attacked her in spectral form.[1] Laurien was found guilty of Witchcraft as the other seven women were.

Records during this time were lost during the Irish Civil War when the Public Records Office were burned, because of this exact records of what happened to Mary Dunbar and the eight women convicted were lost.[1]

gollark: I could probably also, if I could be bothered, store encrypted copies of that on AWS Glacier or other random cloud services, I guess.
gollark: Move it where?
gollark: In my case the wiki thing runs on my server, and the data folder on that is backuped to my laptop and other "server".
gollark: SaaS-type platforms like this generally don't have plugins or extensibility much.
gollark: Besides, this way I can add random features nobody else would ever need! DokuWiki has plugin support, and I needed that one time.
