Career
Kesling developed an interest in acting at a young age. When she was four, she told her parents that she wanted to be on TV. Her parents enrolled her in an acting class, and she soon signed with an agent. She has since appeared in commercials for Home Depot, Glade, V-tech, Juicy Juice, Trilipix and Volkswagen.[2]
Kesling played the role of Bobbi, Sandler's character's niece, in Bedtime Stories. Filming for Bedtime Stories began in February 2008 and wrapped in mid-June. Children were allowed on the set for up to eight hours, three of which had to be school hours. During these hours, Kesling and the other children worked with a tutor. All filming was done in the Los Angeles area, and when Kesling was not scheduled to be in any scenes that day, she attended her own school.[2] Jonathan Curiel of the San Francisco Chronicle described Kesling as "cute" and "big-eyed" in her role as Bobbi.[4]
Personal life
Kesling was a longtime resident of Phoenix, Arizona, but now lives in Manhattan Beach, California. Her father is Rod Kesling,[2] and her mother is professional golfer Danielle Ammaccapane.[3] She has a younger brother named Denver Christian Kesling who was born in 2004, and her aunt Dina Ammaccapane is also an LPGA golfer.[5] As a child she spent her time in a traveling preschool, the LPGA Child Development Center. The center takes care of LPGA member's children while they play golf. Ammaccapane said in 2002 that "if it weren't for the center, I couldn't play professional golf and also have a child. I couldn't afford it. It would either be have a child and quit the tour”[1]
