Lasanna "Ace" Harris
Lasanna “ACE” Harris is a record producer and A&R executive based in Atlanta, GA.[1] His production has topped the Billboard charts and has also been featured on ESPN, VH1, and MTV.[1] He has produced for Nicki Minaj, T.I., Kid Ink, and Lecrae;[2] the latter for which he received a Dove Award.[3] Ace Harris grew up listening to hip hop innovators like Timbaland and OutKast as well as soaking up the sounds of afrobeat, highlife, and soca.[1] From working alongside top producer Shama “Sak Pase” Joseph as well as spearheading his own projects like ATLiberia.[4]

Early life and education
Lasanna “ACE” Harris, was born on June 7, 1984 in Decatur, Georgia.[5] Raised by first-generation Liberian parents, at a young age he listened to diverse genres of music such as Hip Hop, AfroBeat, HighLife, Gospel, Reggae, and R&B.[5] He learned to play the drums while growing up in his father's church. He was raised in Buford, GA a suburb right outside of Atlanta and graduated from Dacula High School.[5] He went on to Georgia State University where he played basketball for one year as a freshman but went on to earn his business degree in marketing. After graduating in 2006 he worked briefly in corporate America before leaving his job to pursue music in 2008.[5]
Music career
Ace left corporate America in 2008 and began pursuing music full-time alongside his then business partner.[5] He aligned with a management company Raydar where he began working closely with R. City.[6] He went on to produce several songs on their many mix tapes under the moniker “The Hipnotiks” with his production partner. Ace continued working on numerous mix tape projects for various artists including K. Michelle, Rick Ross, Jim Jones, and Young Dro between 2008-2010 before he transitioned into the Christian Hip Hop scene.[6]
In 2010 he was introduced to Lecrae and his team at Reach Records. Alongside his newly formed production team PK ONEDAY he went on to produce 3 songs on Lecrae's Rehab, an album which would later be nominated for a Grammy for Best Gospel album.[7] Ace continued to work closely with the Reach Records team and went on to work with many artists on the label including KB, Tedashii, and Derek Minor.
In 2012 Ace began working alongside Shama “Sak Pase” Joseph and his company SEJCO. He joined as a staff producer and began to help oversee production duties for the company. in 2014 he produced on Kid Ink's debut album My Own Lane and in that same year produced on Nicki Minaj's The Pinkprint and Lecrae's Anomaly both of which are certified Gold.
In 2017 Ace humbly accepted the Director of A&R title at Reach Records. They have an extensive history of collaborating on various projects. Now Ace accepts the responsibility of overseeing artist projects and various other Reach Records responsibilities.
In 2019 Ace was accredited production on Lil Wayne Tha Carter V album which went platinum along with production credit on newcomer Koffee "Rapture" EP. Ace would later go on to win a Grammy in 2020 for Best Reggae Album for producing the lead single "Rapture" for Koffee's breakout EP .
