Lalit Kumar Doley
Lalit Kumar Doley (25 May 1927 – 16 March 1986) was an Indian politician and a leader of the Indian National Congress political party in Assam.The first to be elected as the president of Assam Pradesh Congress Committee among the mishings in 1972 and again in 1980.He is generally regarded as the most prominent leader of the mishing community. During his life,his selfless devotion for the people of Assam made him widely popular.
