Allusions
- La Peste features several references to literature. The album's title as well as the track Strange allude to the works of Albert Camus. The final track, "Sinking..." is introduced with a passage from Le Bateau ivre by Arthur Rimbaud and is based on The Rime of the Ancient Mariner by Samuel Taylor Coleridge.
- The sixth track is a cover version of The Eagles' "Hotel California."
